What Is Kiwanis?
Kiwanis is an organization of people who want to improve the communities in which they
live and work.  Membership in a Kiwanis club can provide you with an avenue to become
involved in your community and to participate with business and community leaders.
Kiwanis lends the energy of a local volunteer organization to accomplish worthwhile
service endeavors of your choosing.

Kiwanis Makes A Difference
A Kiwanian is a business person, a neighbor, family member, or a friend in your
community who makes a difference in the lives of others.  A Kiwanian gives of him/herself
to those who need assistance most.  A Kiwanian works for a way of life in which he/she
believes.

Who Is Kiwanis For?
Kiwanis is for anyone who wants to assist in improving the lives of others in his/her
community.  The membership of a Kiwanis club is representative of a broad spectrum of
the community it serves and is often made up of business people, community leaders,
and retirees alike.  Kiwanis membership has something to offer everyone.  Likewise,
anyone interested in community service has something to offer Kiwanis.

How Does Kiwanis Work?
Kiwanis clubs accomplish their goals through sponsorship of a wide range of projects.
Each club selects its projects depending upon the particular needs of its community.
Projects vary from one club to another.

What Is My Commitment?
You can choose a level of commitment that is comfortable to you and select the projects
that are of interest to you personally.  Contribute your time, knowledge, expertise, and
love as your schedule allows.  Bring your personal interests or community organization
under the Kiwanis umbrella of sponsored projects. Be sure to join Kiwanis social events,
where we recognize and celebrate our efforts.
